The Eendragtspolder has a unique combination of water storage, recreation and the internationally renowned Willem-Alexander rowing course. The polder also serves as water storage for the surrounding area and therefore plays an important role in keeping the region dry.
It consists of two sections separated by the winding Slingerkade. Major rowing competitions are also regularly held here. From the cycle path you have a beautiful view over the polder and the rowing course. Many special birds can be spotted in the area, such as sandpipers, the sacred ibis and the redshank.
