Land of Fluwel - Sint Maartensvlotbrug

Land van Fluwel is a unique adventure park with activities for both young and old. Experience nature at the Beach of Fluwel and along the Barefoot Path. There is a large playground, a go-kart track, a Hide-and-Seek Forest and a climbing course. From the observation tower, you can enjoy views over the beautiful dune landscape — and even slide back down in a fun way using the giant slide.

A fun and educational highlight is the Dutch Tulip Experience, as the location lies in the middle of the world’s largest continuous flower bulb growing region. While walking through the forest, an audio tour introduces you to the fascinating history of the tulip — from its origins in the wild and its discovery in Turkey, to tulip mania during the Dutch Golden Age and its status today as an icon of the Netherlands. It is especially recommended in spring, when the flowers in and around the park are in full bloom and turn the tour into a colourful spectacle.

At Land van Fluwel, you will also find restaurant De Kneinsberg, which can be visited without entering the adventure park. Take a seat at one of the long tables on the cosy terrace overlooking a large garden and part of the park, or relax inside the welcoming restaurant filled with plants, housed in a traditional North Holland farmhouse.
