Lunchroom Bijzonder is a spacious and inviting café with a large glass frontage that opens onto the terrace. It's a lovely place to sit in the shade on the edge of De Lier's lively shopping street. From Monday to Friday, you'll be welcomed by a friendly and enthusiastic team, including people with learning disabilities who take part in supported daytime activities here.

Whether you choose a table on the terrace or inside, you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and a menu of delicious homemade dishes. Try the famous apple pie, homemade Westland tomato soup or one of the freshly prepared lunch specials, made whenever possible with local ingredients. Even the coffee has a local story: the beans come from the supported workplace 't Nederhofje in Honselersdijk.

The lunchroom also features a charming gift shop selling stylish handmade gifts at affordable prices. Many of these are created in the lunchroom's own Bijzonder Atelier, while others come from supported workshops in the surrounding area. It's the perfect place to find a unique souvenir or gift to take home.

Thanks to its spacious layout, the lunchroom is fully accessible for wheelchair users and visitors with walking aids. E-bikes can be charged at the charging point at the rear of the building, which can be accessed via Sportlaan.
