On the western side of the village in the extreme western tip of West Brabant, on Veerweg, near the former ferry across the Eendracht, stands an eight-sided wooden thatched tower corn mill in the flat polder landscape. From the dike, stellingkorenmolen De Jager in Oud-Vossemeer (on the island of Tholen) can be seen on the other side. Built as an oil mill, it originally came from Assendelft. The mill name refers to a castle Assemburg near Heemskerk.
