Museum Huis van Oud - Wognum
At Huis van Oud you step back in time. This historic farmhouse is located on the Zomerdijk between Wognum and Spanbroek. After the last resident, Cees Oud, passed away in 1998, the house was taken over by the De Cromme Leeck foundation, which turned it into a small museum.
You discover how people used to live, work and organise their daily lives. Think of authentic rooms with furniture and everyday objects from that time. A visit not only lets you see everything, but through the stories behind the objects you also gain insight into what life was like back then.
Huis van Oud is furnished in the style of the 1940s and 1950s. A visit is perfect to combine with your cycling trip.
