Along the Langesteeg in Leusden lies a compact German bunker from 1944 and 1945, built as part of the Grebbelinie. In this small museum you discover, through information panels, how this location played a role in the defence against the Allies.
Outside, the story continues in the landscape itself, where the Valleikanaal, old fields of fire and defensive structures are still visible. Among the greenery and the calm of today, you can still feel the history of the past.
