Parnassia aan Zee - Overveen

Pause your ride at the welcoming Parnassia aan Zee. Since 1958, visitors have been able to relax here between the sea, the beach and the stunning Kennemer Dunes. What began as a simple kiosk has grown into an iconic beach pavilion that is open all year round, 365 days a year. Its location in the heart of Zuid-Kennemerland National Park makes it a favourite stop for cyclists exploring the Kennemer Dunes and the coastal routes around Bloemendaal aan Zee and Zandvoort.

Right outside the pavilion, you'll find a spacious bicycle parking area with charging points for e-bikes, allowing you to recharge both yourself and your bike. Travelling by car? You're equally welcome, with a large free car park located directly beside the pavilion.

From day-trippers and regular guests to members of the Dutch royal family, everyone feels at home at Parnassia. In addition to the restaurant and its large terrace, the pavilion also offers several rooms for meetings, celebrations and other events.

Because Parnassia is located in the middle of a protected nature reserve, it closes at sunset every day. The kitchen closes one hour before sunset, allowing every visit to follow the rhythm of nature. See you by the sea!
