Among the trees, a castle suddenly appears. Stained glass windows, warm colours and an atmosphere of luxury. This romantic castle residence was built in 1904 for the Dutch aristocrat Egbert Lintelo de Geer. As an avid collector of antiques, De Geer acquired a large number of art objects from nearby churches, monasteries and castles to furnish his residence, including the wrought-iron door knockers from Utrecht Cathedral.
Inside, it feels both cosy and lively. In the lounge, the fireplace crackles as you look out over the garden. A cup of coffee or a good glass of wine tastes just that little bit better here.
Take a seat at De Bistoria and enjoy Mediterranean dishes full of character. Think fresh pasta, rich flavours and famous charcuterie. Outside, the terrace awaits.
