Scherpenzeel House has a rich history dating back to the 14th century. A fortified house of the Lords of Scherpenzeel once stood here, built on a strategic border between Gelre and the Sticht.
In the 18th century the building took on the form of a country house, and in the 19th century it was further developed as a summer residence. Since 2000 the estate has been a protected national monument.
Today, Scherpenzeel House is an atmospheric location for weddings, dinners, parties and business events. Also take a look at the historical society in the coach house next to the estate.
