On the Sjaasberg, you will find an unusual building: the hermitage, as it is also called. Between 1688 and 1931, a new hermit lived in the house with a small chapel. Contrary to what the name suggests, a hermit here did not live completely isolated from the world, but also contributed to the spiritual life of the nearby parish. Nevertheless, the 16 hermits who lived here were mainly to be found in this place to pray and meditate.
