Until 1936, the farm was inhabited by the Kots family. After the death of the last resident, Hendrik Kots, an heir established the museum. The open-air museum shows how farmers in the Achterhoek lived, worked and resided for centuries.
You can park your car at the museum and continue by bike from here. There are several junctions nearby. The routes are very varied, allowing you to enjoy farms, church villages, small bridges and artworks.
