The vineyards of St. Martinus are located at the southernmost point of the Netherlands. What began as a small vineyard soon developed into a true testing ground for viticulture. The original vineyard is still used for experiments, helping the estate explore the most sustainable ways of producing wine while avoiding the use of systemic pesticides.
Around one hundred different grape varieties are cultivated at St. Martinus. All are tested for their suitability to the Dutch climate. This has made St. Martinus an important centre of knowledge and innovation for Dutch winemaking.
Enjoy a guided tour or a wine tasting in the tasting room at this beautiful location. If you visit during the harvest season, you can even help pick the grapes.
