Park your bike at the Water Tower in Culemborg. The tower is an impressive 35 metres high and once held as much as 200 cubic metres of water.
Built in 1911 and designed by Visser & Smit Hanab, the water tower has been out of service since 2005. The original water tanks are still present, and the tower stands in a charming orchard that adds to its unique character.
The Water Tower Culemborg Foundation is currently working on finding a new purpose for both the tower and the nearby pumping station, helping to preserve this remarkable piece of industrial heritage for future generations.
